Scope: These Terms govern your use of https://meliahealthos.com (the “Site”) and any materials, pages, or services we offer under the MELIA Health OS™ brand (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Content on this site is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment. If you can access a clinician, seek professional care. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
3) No doctor–patient relationship
Using this site or contacting us does not create a doctor–patient relationship.
4) Your responsibilities
Use the site lawfully. Don’t attempt to breach security, disrupt services, reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse content.

5.1 Ownership.
This website and all materials on it—including text, graphics, illustrations, videos, UI/layout, icons, logos, trademarks, service marks, trade dress, data visualisations, design systems, and downloadable assets (collectively, the “Content”)—are owned by or licensed to MELIA Health (Pty) Ltd and are protected by copyright, trade-mark, and other laws.
5.2 Limited licence for site use.
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the Content for your own non-commercial use while using the site. Except as expressly allowed by law, you may not copy, reproduce, adapt, translate, publish, mirror, frame, scrape, distribute, sell, rent, or create derivative works from the Content without our prior written permission.
5.3 Trademarks.
MELIA Health OS™, the data-audio-path logo, and any related names, slogans, product or feature names, and trade dress are trademarks or trade dress of MELIA Health (Pty) Ltd (the “MELIA Marks”). You may not use the MELIA Marks (including in domain names, social handles, ads, apps, or merchandise) without our prior written consent. Third-party names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
5.4 No rights implied.
No rights are granted to you by implication or estoppel. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5.5 User submissions & feedback.
If you send ideas, feedback, or suggestions (“Feedback”), you grant MELIA a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use and commercialise that Feedback without any obligation to you.
5.6 Infringement notices.
If you believe any Content infringes your rights, email [email protected] with: (a) your contact details; (b) a description/URL of the material; (c) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised; (d) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorised to act; and (e) your signature. We may remove content at our discretion.
5.7 Prohibited uses (IP-related).
You agree not to remove copyright/brand notices, alter watermarks, or use bots/scrapers to harvest Content or metadata.
6) Third-party services and links
We link to third-party services (e.g., YouTube, Buy Me a Coffee). Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. We’re not responsible for third-party content or policies.
7) Donations and payments
Donations occur off-site (e.g., BMC/Stripe/PayPal). We don’t process or store your payment details on this site and aren’t a party to those payment contracts.
8) Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time. We may update these Terms; changes apply when posted with the updated effective date.
9) Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
10) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MELIA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenues, arising from your use of the site.
11) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify MELIA against claims arising from your misuse of the site or breach of these Terms.
12) Governing law
The laws of South Africa govern these Terms. Courts of South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction.
